How many people do I need for onsite training?
We can often accommodate both small and large groups. Many businesses schedule onsite training for groups of 8 or more, but smaller private trainings may also be available.

AED & Workplace Safety
Do you sell AEDs?
Yes! CPR Choice is an authorized AED distributor offering several major AED brands, including Zoll, Philips, Heartsine, and Defibtech.
Does my business need an AED?
We strongly recommend that businesses consider having an AED onsite to help protect both employees and customers. Sudden cardiac arrest can happen anywhere, and every minute without defibrillation greatly decreases the chance of survival.
When used quickly, an AED can increase a person’s chance of survival significantly by helping restore a normal heart rhythm during cardiac arrest. AEDs are designed for everyday people to use and provide simple voice prompts to guide rescuers step-by-step.
Many workplaces, churches, gyms, schools, construction companies, and public facilities now choose to keep AEDs onsite as part of their emergency preparedness and workplace safety programs.
How often do AED pads and batteries need to be replaced?
AED pad and battery replacement schedules depend on the make and model of the AED. In general:
- AED pads typically last about 2–4 years
- AED batteries typically last about 4–7 years
Every AED has expiration dates listed on the pads and batteries. Keeping these components current is an important part of AED maintenance and readiness.
CPR Choice can help track replacement schedules and assist with replacement pads, batteries, and ongoing AED support.
What is AED maintenance?
AED maintenance is the process of routinely checking your AED to ensure it is functioning properly and rescue-ready in the event of a cardiac emergency.
Most AEDs perform automatic self-tests and display a visual status indicator showing whether the unit is in working order. Monthly maintenance typically includes:
- checking the AED status indicator
- ensuring pads and batteries are not expired
- confirming the AED is accessible and undamaged
- verifying rescue supplies are stocked
CPR Choice offers AED365, a simple AED management software system that helps businesses track inspections, maintenance, and expiration dates.
Can CPR Choice inspect our AEDs?
Yes! CPR Choice offers multiple AED inspection options depending on your organization’s needs.
Many businesses use our AED365 management system to perform quick self-inspections. Simply scan the QR code located on the AED and answer a few short questions. The process typically takes less than one minute and helps document compliance and readiness while keeping costs low.
For businesses that prefer hands-on support, CPR Choice can also perform physical AED inspections onsite near our training center locations throughout Tennessee and Colorado.
