The Philips FRx SMART Pads II are designed for use with the Philips HeartStart FRx AED. These versatile pads are suitable for both adult and pediatric patients, making them ideal for environments where emergencies may involve individuals of any age.
When used with the optional Infant/Child Key, the FRx AED automatically adjusts to deliver a lower energy dose appropriate for pediatric patients—without the need to switch pad sets. The pads come in a sealed, foil pouch with a pull-tab for quick deployment and are pre-connected to minimize setup time during a rescue.
